Une lueur d'espoir (A Glimmer of Hope)
Une lueur d’espoir (A Glimmer of Hope) brings an imaginary world into bloom, where living forms meet in a light full of promise. Created in 1992 during a first pregnancy, this watercolour carries the wish for a better future. Its luminous colours and transparent layers invite a return to the wonder of childhood, when nature remains an endless source of discovery.
In its different orientations, the composition reveals new encounters: a wing may become foliage, a silhouette may emerge between two curves, or a passage may open where a ridge once seemed to rise. The eye can follow these transformations, explore a hidden corner, or imagine what lies beyond the forms.
The Organic / Atmospheric Forms collection draws inspiration from nature, from the infinitely small to the vastness of landscapes. Branching lines, textures and movements suggest the living world, while the interplay of light and shadow gives depth to these spaces.
At the boundary between abstraction and what seems recognizable, these works leave their stories open. Each viewer can bring their own memories, emotions and associations, forming a connection that is uniquely their own.
