Révélation botanique (Botanical Revelation)
Révélation botanique (Botanical Revelation) invites viewers to look closely at a botanical world that gradually reveals itself among the colours.
Created in 2026, the work continues the Déstructuration botanique series, inspired by walks through Québec’s forests and along its shores. Forms held in memory are freely transformed, allowing a familiar sense of nature to emerge without depicting a specific place.
Watercolour, acrylic and pencil on paper mounted on wood combine translucent layers with delicate lines. Leaves and branching forms seem to take shape, surrounded by a soft grey that lets them float.
With each orientation, a small detail can become a garden or a landscape to explore. Following a line or lingering in a fold may be enough to imagine what might grow or hide there.
