Lien Universel VII (Universal Connection VII)

Lien universel VII (Universal Connection VII) evokes the moment when the pull towards the light becomes stronger than hesitation. At first glance, the dark areas on either side give the scene an almost dramatic intensity, while a soft glow emerges through the mist. Firmly rooted on the right, the tree guides the eye towards this space. The warmth of the earth meets the freshness of the foliage, and flowing colour connects the elements, softening their contours. We can then imagine entering this place and simply settling there for a moment, taking a breath.

Within the Gratitude collection, the Lien universel series expresses a desire to live fully in the present moment. The tree embodies its symbolism: the ground represents roots and knowledge; the trunk, the human body and its limitations; the foliage, thoughts, values and inspiration. The sky and its light evoke gratitude and hope, as well as the part of existence that lies beyond our control and that each person may understand through their own beliefs.

This intention to remain present guides the entire creative process. Each gesture, each breath follows an inner impulse, in dialogue with the possibilities and constraints of the materials. Diluted colour flows, its movement guided by turning the canvas, with close attention to the translucent layers as they emerge. Gesture by gesture, a space takes shape where we can finally settle into stillness and allow our own reflections to emerge.
