Jeux de voltige (Aerial Play)

Jeux de voltige (Aerial Play) was born from a desire to explore and convey movement through air and water. Forms emerge, intersect, and transform: outstretched wings, birds in flight, fish, insects, foliage, or petals carried by the wind. Each viewer is free to recognize their own presences within them.

At the heart of the composition, a denser blue-green area may evoke a pool, floating vegetation, or a creature in motion. Around it, long lines suggest branches, stems, or trajectories, connecting the different elements of this imaginary world.

Guided by a desire for simplicity, the work gives full expression to free and spontaneous gestures. Its luminous, joyful palette flows through transparent layers, filling the spaces without weighing them down.

Presented in four orientations, the work renews its movement with every rotation: what once seemed to fly may suddenly appear to swim, grow, or drift with a current.
