Gardinus

Gardinus

I dream of a beautiful garden filled with colours, scents and textures…
A fleeting moment in time, yet absolute in sensory memory.
— Chantal De Serres

Gardinus opensthe gates to an imaginary garden where every hidden corner may hold a surprise. Bathed in warm light, forms suggesting petals and foliage mingle, offering glimpses of passageways and half-hidden flowers. A silhouette seems to take flight—or perhaps an animal is slipping through the greenery. The eye wanders, draws closer and lingers, as though following a presence that has just slipped out of sight.

Luminous colours blend into softer passages, while textures invite us to explore the folds of this garden. In its four orientations, new openings emerge and the forms take on different roles. Are we looking at an abundant flowering, or have we become small enough to wander among its petals? Each viewer may recall the feeling of a warm day, imagine a fragrance and follow a path visible only to them.

Within the Abstract Landscapes collection, a fascination with nature finds expression through texture and freedom of gesture. The memory of a place becomes an impression, shaped by the feelings it evokes. These works invite us, in turn, to discover what fascinates us and draws us into contemplation.
