Au prologue d'Éden (Prelude to Eden)
Au prologue d'Éden (Prelude to Eden)
Au prologue d'Éden (Prelude to Eden) evokes the threshold of an imaginary world, a landscape of beginnings where everything still seems possible. On the left, a dark form suggests a tree standing at the water’s edge. The eye then follows the water toward an opening between two cliffs and, beyond them, toward lighter colours that hint at a world yet to be discovered.
Blues, turquoises, pinks, and reds shape a deliberately free, almost naïve landscape, where light transforms reality into a dreamlike place. The work does not depict Eden itself, but rather its prelude: that moment when we are about to enter a wondrous world still unknown.
Au prologue d’Éden is part of the Concave & Convex collection, born from a desire to explore the complexity of colour through deliberately simple forms and gestures.
